Daniel:
One of the requirements of this list is not to plagiarize. If someone
wrote something, it should be presented as their writing and not
presented by someone else as though the other person had written it.
If something is important enough to share, it should come with a proper
citation, if possible, so that the author is properly credited. By
knowing who wrote something, we can consider what we know of them while
considering what they say. And in knowing the author, we can seek out
further materials by them -- or know to skip over materials we'd rather
not waste time on.
Anyone can make a mistake, but a consistent pattern of including
materials by other people under one's own name is not acceptable on this
list, and can lead to moderation or someone getting unsubscribed.
