Re: "Satanic and pre-Admic Races"

Dear Friends:

This phrase used by H P B in The SECRET DOCTRINE ( I 325 )
is part of her illustration of the description and use of
the 7 Keys that help in deciphering The SECRET DOCTRINE and
other Theosophical texts. They are a part of our
pre-history recorded in the annals of the Ancient and
Eternal Lodge of Adepts. The S D is a part, a condensation
of some of the information, and is copied from this record.
We must recall that the Masters of wisdom employed H P B as
a willing and faithful "messenger" to make a record for us
of so many pages lost or destroyed as conquerors over-ran
places where such records were stored. Notably we have a
record of the Alexandrian Library thrice burned and
restored. Then in the 10th Century Caliph Omar invaded
Egypt and systematically destroyed the records of her
temples and system of Initiation.

The clue lies in statements made elsewhere in the S D and I
U etc...

"Satan" is a word or an appellation with a history that has
seen it derogated by the R C church. [S D I 415; II 229fn,
504 776-7] They made Satan grotesque: II 476, 508. Satan
was transformed into a personification of evil: II 478,
508-9., and a scapegoat for God's blunders I 412. All
these statements can be proved from original texts. H P B
tells us where they are.

The best way to study this is to use The SECRET DOCTRINE
Index as well as that of ISIS UNVEILED. But it is important
in such study to secure an "all-round" picture of the era
and the subject. So the history and existence of the
"pre-Adamic Races" ought to be discovered.

"Genesis" in its verses and narration foreshortens many eras
and deceptively compresses time, using days and years for
far vaster periods. One cannot read and accept the
statements found there literally. further most of the
Jewish literature was destroyed by the Romans and angina by
the R C Church. it was laboriously restored by several
Rabbis. Its wisdom was made a part of the reconstructed
Kaballah we know of and the Zohar explains portions of that.

This relates to the very early evolution of the human form
on the Earth. Note well that "form" develops under the
tutelage of the "material genii." The Mind and the
Intelligence that is Human is of another descent.

Apparently about 18 million years ago (SECRET DOCTRINE I
150fn) , the MIND as a faculty was "lit-up" in the human
forms of that time. WE ARE THOSE EGOS. Our minds were to
ones that were "lit-up."

We have been reincarnating in race after race and era after
era ever since then, striving to develop, deepen and expand
our MENTAL PERCEPTIONS. Striving to bring our "passionate
and desire natures ( Kama ) under mind control.

I have another question that I thought some of you
might be able to help me with. We have been
discussing the Pre-Adamic and Satanic races that are
mentioned in Secret Doctrine vol. 1, p.325. I wonder
if someone would clarify why these Pre-Adamic races
were called Satanic (???) Thanks.
