Accepting your facts are correct...does this mean the US is in error giving
foreign aid payments? I'm not being cynical, just curious as to how the
national mindset works. Are we in the US causing discord by offering
charity? Should the aid be withdrawn -- not in protest to India repeatedly
voting against US policy -- but because our motives may be in question with
the giving of aid?
Can't "giving" with the wrong attitude or motive, create conflict?
Shouldn't India's obvious disagreements with the US tell us that we should
both reconsider our gifts and our reasons for giving? Can withholding gifts
be as "good" as giving them? Nancy
