Despite having read scores of books on the events of
the thirties and forties, I never had heard before of
Rotshchild financing Hitler. The Haavara incident
apparently really did occur and has been documented by
reputable scholars. Looking on the Internet using
Rotschild and Hitler as search terms, it appears the
idea that Rotschild financed Hitler is a favorite
theme of antiSemitic groups like the Lyndon Larouche
organizations (there are several of them) and the
Nation of Islam.

Given that the Haavara incident is a fact, the alleged
connection between Rothschild and Hitler cannot be
dismissed out of hand. However it also appears one
should search for reputable works of scholarship
before arriving at any conclusions. It makes no sense
to base your world view on Lyndon Larouche and Louis
Farrakhan. If anyone knows of works by reputable
scholars which support this thesis, please share the
titles.
