Point taken. In terms of methods, it brings up the old question, do the
ends justify the means? Is there such thing as absolute morality, or is
morality a subjective area of grays? I personally believe that the
mathematics of fuzzy logic is a definite help in answering that
question. If one is to believe theosophical writings, there IS an
absolute morality. Unfortunately, without direct perception of karma, it
is virtually impossible to tell for sure what it is. Any action (or
inaction) we take is likely to have consequences which work along with
morality, and work against it. To make things even more complex, the
degree to which an action works with or against the laws of the Universe
changes the relative importance of the various consequences.

What is needed is a leadership of the Palestinians that is willing to
give up its war of conquest against Israel. Bush's proposal is the best
chance so far of that coming to pass.
