Mecca is the holiest site in the Islamic world.
Muslims are required to make pilgrimage there once in
a lifetime if they are able. The place is located in
Saudi Arabia.
The Saudis insist that no one who is not Muslim has
ever been to Mecca, a claim which is problematic at
best.
