Dear Georg

How can the PERCEIVER which is UNMODIFIED be anything else but
the ETERNAL SELF -- there Witness who exists but to help and
serve all others ?

If so then It is not evanescent, nor is it perishable as a
"maya" (illusion) might be in the course of time.

It is beginning less and endless -- duration is its field.

It alone sees all and knows all.

Yet in theosophy it is plainly stated that nothing DIES in its
essence -- in its SPIRITUAL NATURE.

Then why the periods of "manifestation" unless through that
process the SELF the ONE LEARNS TO PERCEIVE AND KNOW ITSELF?

look up S D II p. 176 top: "Desire first arose in IT that was
the primal germ of Mind, and which Sages seeing in their Heart
with their intellect discovered to be the bond that links
Existence with Non-Existence, Being with Non-Being. "
Something to meditate on.

Best wishes,

Dal

Dallas

Ah! Your giving them the answeres already. True. There is no
"Self". We are
all the same illusion. We are all just one great big single
thought. This
joke of us living as independent critters is simply a property
(side effect)
of this THOUGHT. However, without "us" and every other property
of this
thought playing the game, this Thought would be Naught. (Now is
where it
gets weird, since this Naught Thought already done its thing, it
really can
not become again Naught completely. It is stuck as an "IS".
ESTABLISHED!) To
go on more is hardly profitable. But it is good clean fun.

Georg
