Angel of Death

<<<Jerry,
Was there a "unique sound" coincident with the "Angel of Death" experience?
John >>>>

Don't recall any sounds (my heart beating, perhaps), but the overriding feature that I can still vividly remember is the absolute certainty of my own death. The Angel was a symbol (archetype?) of that fact. This absolute certainty is obviously a known statistic to every ego, but most of us avoid the confrontation by asserting that it will be tomorrow and thinking about something else. When you face the absolute certainty of your own death, the ego is either terrified or transcended. I have discovered that, for me, terror occurs mainly at night, while transcendence occurs mainy in daylight. Why this is so, I don't know other than possibly something influencing me from the sun. My sense of ego and its fraility is stronger at night. Is this just me?
