Hi Mic,

This is a hard one and has caused division even among theosophists here
in the States.But my own gut feeling is we have to stop terrorism
including those governments that support it, but not condemn an entire
people.

Shortly after 9/11 my family went to visit our very best friends in
another state. The husband just happens to be an Iranian national,
although he is a non practicing Moslem.
He was as upset at the terrorists as an American I had spoken to and just
as supportive of the U.S. policy. He also feels the Iranian government is
extreme and will never go back there. I'm sure many of those fine Iranian
athletes do NOT support terrorism and the remarks make by the newscaster
were entirely out of line.

Each will report their own take of all this however
