Ok, fair enough. I'm female, mentally oriented, obviously not the
warm, nurturing kind. I work in the U.S. telecommunications industry
as a software engineer.

My Theosophical roots began around 1980 when I expressed an interest
in the Rosicrucian (AMORC) movement but I didn't commit to my
spiritual path until 1989. Since then, I've investigated other
branches of Theosophy such as the I AM, Agni Yoga, AAB/DK, The Golden
Dawn, Anthroposophy, etc. I've always been fascinated by the light
and dark aspects of Theosophy's history. I consider the I AM
movement to be the "cotton-candy" branch of Theosophy. AAB/DK and
The Golden Dawn seem to be too concerned with magic, not science and
true alchemy but my opinions aren't conclusive, by no means.
