Re: material posted on THEOS-TALK or THEOS-WORLD.

Dear Eldon:

Although this may be against your first principles in regard to
"Theos-Talk" -- as an open exchange, let me say i think you are
quite right in taking a stand such as you say you will do.

It ought to make the list more of a study center than one of
opinionated controversy.

In my opinion: All personal attacks ought to be returned to the
sender for suitable revision and if possible the stating of some
impersonal principle in preference to the stating of what any one
happens to like about another writer (living or dead) or their
statements.

If HISTORY is to be discussed, then let it be on a "level field."

Best wishes as always,

Dallas

Subject: Theos-World Behavior on the theos-talk list

NOTE TO SUBSCRIBERS:

The topics of discussion are open, although I'd generally
expect items to contain some reference to Theosophy or
things that might be of interest to Theosophists. (A long
stream of partisan political propaganda would be an
example of something that is clearly out of place.)

If anyone has any complaints about the behavior of people
on the list, write me about it. I EXPECT EVERYONE TO
BEHAVE IN A CIVIL MANNER ON THE LIST. This has to do
with how we treat each other, more than it relates to
any particular topic of discussion.

People that do not behave themselves will find their
postings individually moderated, or in extreme cases
with be unsubscribed from the list.
