one with Paul. Because their backgrounds are quite
different, there's some difficulty in seeing eye-to-eye.

When you unexpectedly lash out at her and charge her
with attacking people on the list, you put her in the
unpleasant position of either saying nothing, which
makes it seem like she agrees with your statement, or
of defending herself. (Defending oneself in small matters
is discouraged in Theosophy. It's a practice to
cultivate self-forgetfulness and humility.)

Doing this, you're changing the subject from an exploration
of views between Adelasie, Gerald, and Paul to the
topic of "is Adelasie a bad person?" I don't think that's
appropriate on this list.
