Re: THE STAR OF THE SOUL

Dear Friends:

In answer to your post.

1.

It is in The SECRET DOCTRINE, Vol. I, pp. 572-3, that H P B SAYS:

"The star under which a human Entity is born, says the Occult
teaching, WILL REMAIN FOR EVER ITS STAR THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE
CYCLE OF ITS INCARNATIONS IN ONE MANVANTARA.

But this is not his astrological star. The latter is concerned
and connected with the PERSONALITY, the former was with the
INDIVIDUALITY." -- H P B

-------------------------------

To be accurate one has to go to the original statements, as our
memories often play tricks on us, and we remember things as we
would like to hear them.

It would seem that each rebirth has the same one star for our
INDIVIDUALITY, while the ever-changing Personality of each
succeeding life (focused in the lower Quaternary: body, astral,
Prana and Kama) has an "astrological" star that changes and
relates to the Karma of each specific new incarnation. This
"astrological star" is only to be discovered by careful study of
our own embodied, personal character and capacities, letting the
INDIVIDUALITY -- the Permanent Ego -- do the analysis
impersonally and impartially. This will give us insight into the
nature of our Karma and also our Dharma (responsibilities for
this life-time.)

2.

H P B speaks of the return of the INDIVIDUALITY in a fresh
Manvantaric manifestation in this way: [ from ISIS UNVEILED AND
THE VISISHTADWAITA, "Theosophist," January 1886; BLAVATSKY:
Collected Works (TPH) Vol. 7, p. 50; U L T -- H P B Articles,
Vol. III p. 265 ]

"I maintain as an occultist, on the authority of The SECRET
DOCTRINE , that though merged entirely into Parabrahm, man's
spirit while not individual per se, yet preserves its distinct
INDIVIDUALITY in Paranirvana owing to the accumulation in it of
the aggregates, or skandhas that have survived after each death,
from the highest faculties of the Manas.

The most spiritual -- i.e., the highest and divinest aspirations
of every personality follow BUDDHI and the Seventh Principle
[ATMA] into Devachan (Swarga) after the death of each personality
along the line of rebirths, and become part and parcel of the
MONAD...the INDIVIDUALITY of the spirit-soul...is preserved to
the end of the great cycle (Maha-Manwantara) when each Ego enters
Paranirvana, or is merged in Parabrahm...each such Parabrahmic
and Paranirvanic "spirits," or "units," have and must preserve
their divine (not human) INDIVIDUALITIES, is shown in the fact
that, however long the "night of Brahma" or even the Universal
Pralaya...yet, when it ends, the SAME INDIVIDUAL DIVINE MONAD
resumes its majestic path of evolution, though on a higher,
hundredfold perfected and more pure chain of earths than before,
and brings with it all the essence of compound spiritualities
from its previous countless rebirths." - H P B

------------------------

This appears to be entirely reasonable in logic and metaphysics
since the increments of spiritual growth remain as MEMORIES
impacted imperishably in the unalterable Akasa that is part and
parcel of the Divine MONAD ( or, ATMA-BUDDHI-MANAS). [ The KEY
TO THEOSOPHY (HPB) is a most valuable book and will assist, if
carefully studied, in securing the necessary information for
self-analysis and Self-guided progress. ]

I hope this makes it very clear how important Theosophy is in
regard to the potential we all have at the core essence of our
being. It is well to remember that Jesus once turned to his
disciples and observed: "Know ye not that ye are Gods?" [John,
10 -- 34-5]

Theosophy is NOT a joke; nor is it a construct, slapped together
haphazardly by H P B from other books and writings. If one
studies Theosophy one begins to untangle the web of doubt and
skepticism that entangles our mental feet.

Three great ideas when meditated on do this:

1.	The Divine in Nature is universal and common to us all. It is
INNATE in all.

2.	Nature is infinitely sensitive and provides laws and support
for all beings. It is KARMA.,

3.	Every being, from "life-atom" to the greatest of manifested
Universes provides a seamless and "level" field for the progress
and evolution of all beings. This is Reincarnation.

The law of such progress is called "Reincarnation." It honors
all Spirit-Souls (BUDDHI-MANAS) with the dignity and majesty of
recognizing their presence and necessity as "Immortal Pilgrims."

It is a responsibility and a duty to make this the center of our
mind considerations, and then, of our living choices, and use it
to modify our way of life hereafter.

Truly, one wonders why those who contact Theosophy, are not
immediately, and deeply stirred by the depths of its concepts and
the vision one may acquire of the Spiritual future that is
eventually ours.

Best wishes,

Dallas

It is above all that is written below that the "star" that guides
us is
prevalent , as Dallas wrote a post stating that the soul has a
star which
guides the monad for that particular length of time. after that ,
who knows?
Another birth , another star?
That is how i understand it.

oooooooooooooooo

Leon Maurer states in his post on Creating yet another duality.

"** "forever" meaning the entire loop that an emanating atmic ray
travels
through the cycle of "wakeful" manvantaric existence in Brahma
and its return
to "sleeping" pralayic existence in Parabrahm -- to begin the
journey again
in the following manvantara (and repeatedly through following
cycles of
Brahma) based on its individual skandhas until all its karma is
resolved or
mitigated and brought into harmonious relationship with the
higher SELF of
ALL.
