Viswanathan and the Mahatma letters

Folks,

Somehow I missed the addition of "Letters from the White Brotherhood"
by Gauri Viswanathan to Brigitte's website until this morning. It's
such an interesting take on the Mahatma letters that I wonder if
anyone else has read it and had any thoughts.

It's refreshing to see a noted scholar take on this body of
literature from an entirely new angle: power relationships and
spirituality in the raj. Much of what she says on this topic is
intriguing, worth going into here if anyone is inclined to discuss it.

Cheers,

Paul
