Re: Daniel Caldwell lost credibility.

Dear Brigitte,

One can always depend on you adding your two cents worth! :)

Brigitte, if you want to believe I have lost credibility, then go for
it; believe it.

But thanks for all your questions. I will look at your questions and
try to understand them. But to answer them properly takes time.
Maybe you are one to answer questions off the top of your head but
unless I already know something about the subject I am not one to
just blindly give any answer that comes into my head.

I don't pretend to know all the answers, by any means. Serious study
and research (not to mention just the time it takes to write
soemthing) takes lots of time and energy. Maybe you have a
shortcut! Tell us your secret. ;)

I wish I had more time to participate in all the lists. But it is
difficult to keep up with just reading all the postings from all the
groups I subscribe to.

For example, I have followed with a great deal of interest the debate
between Jerry S. and Peter M. on Theos-l about atman, etc. but have
found little time to add my two cents to the discussion. To properly
answer some of Jerry's and Peter's and Ian's emails would require
hours of study, thought and writing. I just don't have the time to do
all of that. That reminds me that I haven't answered Ian's private
mail to me from a week ago!!

You yourself have contributed so much material to Theos-Talk that I
find it hard just reading all of your material. To actually
understand it takes even longer. To reply to it in an intelligent
way takes even longer.

Furthermore, many times in the last few months I have posted material
relevant to what you have written and many times you simply ignored
what I had written or you said I didn't answer 24 of your other
points. So I see no rush to answer your email just because you want
it answered quickly. Brigitte, remember patience is a virtue.

In the last twenty four hours alone, Steve, Bill and you have posted
emails about me and my reasoning, etc. etc. To answer all of that as
it should be properly answered would take hours and hours of thought,
study, writing, etc.

I will contribute to the various discussions when I feel I can give
something substantial and I have the time to do so.

And I look forward to other readers on this forum who might give
their insights and "take" on what you have written. I am sure I am
not the only one on this forum who can take a serious look at your
claims, etc.

Daniel
