Dear Bill,

You certainly did a fine job in your latest post of distracting even 
farther from the discussion of the Ooton Liatto account and the 
essential issues surrounding this and related cases.

The only excerpt in your post worthy of serious comment from me is as 
follows:

"If Steve has jumped to questionable conclusions, let Daniel be 
specific in pointing out to Steve exactly where the jump in logic 
occurred instead of a broad charge of conclusion jumping over several 
events that may or may not be related."

I spent more than two hours in the early afternoon today seriously 
thinking about Steve's arguments concerning HPB using hashish and the 
jump from there ..... to the fumes from HPB's cigarettes and the jump 
from there .... to Olcott's cigars and the jump from there.... etc. 

I think I came up with some interesting points and I look forward to 
spelling out in some detail the "conclusion jumping" that I find in 
Steve Stubbs's postings.
