But that does not imply that those many who laugh are the wiser ones or the
ones who have a first hand knowledge.
My own humble experience of life showed me that those who laugh, don't laugh
because they know more but rather because they know lesser.

You notice right!

Like I said, it was something that was important to the Victorians and our
folks just have this need to carry it over into the 21st century. All that
sort of thing does is make us look less virtuous than ridiculous. A lot of
us have been laughing at that for a very long time.
