Bill, are you saying that you believe in the phenomena attributed to
Jesus? Unfortunately, the gospels do NOT give us first hand,
eyewitness testimonies. Instead the gospels are compilations from
unknown sources by unknown authors. At least with Madame Blavatsky,
we have numerous first-hand accounts by scores of known witnesses.
In regard to your second paragraph above about why a "true master"
would behave in such a small fashion, please tell us exactly what you
have in mind when you write about a TRUE MASTER. I guess according to
your presuppositions, true masters don't smoke.
Are you telling us that you don't believe Olcott met REAL ADEPTS? Or
are you telling us that whoever these men were, they were certainly
not TRUE MASTERS? What are you trying to convey to us?
Maybe you are correct in your assumptions, but again maybe you are
not. I think seekers of truth should criticually examine and
questions claims, but at the same time these seekers should challenge
their own assumptions and presuppositions.
