Seems there are an over abundunce of magnifications and distortions
in the storys bandied forth.
I did see one of the Horten or Lippisch -I do not remember which that
was
spread over the web of a craft minus the "wings" . Only the main
fusalage
frame housing the 2 jet engines and cockpit, I beleive some
extrapolated a
circular wing instead of the missing "cresent" portions of the wing
sections.
Many years ago in the period of 1955-60 I had opprotunity to be at
White
Sands New Mexico and allowed to inspect and see the captured German
V-2's
the U S Army was then involved with. As I had been a Graduate of the US
Army
Guided Missile Ordnance School at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville Alabama.
Dr. Werner Von Braun was there when I was schooled and later staioned
for
live Missile Firing Support out there at White Sands, I saw no
captured Nazi
Saucers in the Hangers with the V-2's.
Turning to another content of your reply -- I personally know George
Van Tassel
for several years prior to his passing away. I found him to be a fine
person and
was astonished when I inspected his major Project , the Integratron, a
marvelous
construction . I read many of the Monthly "Proceedings " he published and
they were absent any noticable genuflections one might ascribe to Nazi
Philosophy.
Giant Rock was a grand Meeting place for those who entertained interest
in the
UFO phenomena. And yes there were lots of rumours that were around about
a
"Nazi" connection even one that included a suspected Nazi spy who blew
himself
up.
Best regards John
