Just saw it on TV this morning. Possible Reasons: 1. Birds in
engine (migration time here),
2. Structural frame support failure, 3. possible failure of
turbo vane ( 35,000 rpm speed) --
4. seems terrorism may be ruled out -- no communication from
plane indicating an attempted take-over. Cockpit door was
reinforced.

Let's wait on this.

There was another plane crash in New York a little while ago.
The plane, an
A-300 air bus with around 246 passengers on board, was taking off
from
J.F.Kennedy airport bound for the Dominican Republic, thus laden
with fuel.
The cause is still unknown.

Sad news - and reminds one of the tragedies going on all over
the world at
the moment.
