Look I don't really understand all this exoteric stuff you're talking
about.

All I know is you can't travel through dimensional portals unless you
stop time to create a congruent nexus.
If you've got years to learn how to meditate to that point (haha I kill
me) then fine. Otherwise go join the dervishes and spin on the spot. Or
you can use a strobe light and cylinder of CO2 (popular in the 50's).

There's also a vast difference between hallucinogens, entheogens,
medicinal herbs, psychadaelics and nootropics. A shaman knows the
effects of each on the body and spirit and how to use them to heal
others. Mushrooms, vines, seeds, roots, bark - natures pharmacopeia.
Aspirin comes from willow bark - a wicth 300 years ago would have
prescribed willow bark for headaches - she would have been burnt at the
stake for doing so. Your neolithic attitude is one step removed from
this.

I know precious little about *shamanism*. I respect people's 
beliefs. If people use hallucinogens to *get* spiritual 
experiences, then, for me, these experiences are worth the 
price of these substances. Love has nothing to do with this. If 
we truly spiritually minded, then we are after love, service 
and sacrifice. I don't see where these substances have any 
value for those who follow the path of our Lord of Love. So you 
do prescribe drugs for *spiritual advancement*? Etzion
