RE: [bn-study] Re: SD Vols. ! and 2, and others ?

Dear Gopi:

As far as I can determine The SECRET DOCTRINE exposes several of
the KEYS whereby ancient symbology and modern research into the
secrets of Nature's Laws -- which underlie all manifestation,
(and rule and guide it, I would say) -- may be secured.

I also believe the student (and we are all) has to discover and
find them for himself.

One important one is that of correspondence and analogy.

Another may be the concept of Universal Life which manifests as
the contrasting pairs. (The concept of the MONAD: ATMA-BUDDHI)

We also have positive and negative, black and white; day and
night; sleep, rest and activity; perception and non-perception;
good and evil. But all these leads us to the point: Who or What
is the EXPERIENCER? Who or what is the PERCEIVER?

So it seems that from duality we have to jump to a trinity in
order to have a living and progressive system. Is this trinity
no to be discerned in the Gita ? -- the 3 Gunas ( or Sattva-Rajas
and Tamas ?) -- the 3 qualities of Nature which Sri Krishna says
are purity, action and inertia. Spirit - Mind and Matter. And
so on. [ See S D I p 181, where the 3 planes of evolution are
shown to be intertwined at all levels; then, consult Vol. I,
p. 157 where the several schools of philosophy are contrasted.--
and in Vol. II, p 596, H P B gives another table to assist us.

But that implies there is a third aspect which does not CHANGE
and therefore is able to see all changes and laws, as well as the
individual progress of intelligence and consciousness quite
clearly. So the idea of the eternal changeless and unmodifiable
and indescribable BACKGROUND of the ABSOLUTENESS is provoked into
conceptuality. It is both in and out of manifestation, and of IT
one can only say that it is a logical necessity.

Still another seems to offer to our questing minds the
progressive development of all kinds, sizes and complexity of
evolution in and out of "forms." Perhaps the 7-fold Universe and
the 7-fold human constitution give us a clue to that. [ see
above S D I 157, 243-246, and II 596 ]

One could go on showing how in many places in The SECRET DOCTRINE
H.P.Blavatsky has given us KEYS which open our minds to the
INTUITIVE level, where we might presume the wisdom of Buddhi
becomes available to the Mind that is pure and free of any
selfishness.

So I do not believe there are physical or even astral or other
"books" that might cover the entirety of the survey of NATURE. I
think we are dealing with a living whole, and the key to that
WHOLE is in every Human. It is said somewhere that the lock of
Nature is to be opened by the Key of the human Mind. The great
question is how do we find it, and how soon do we learn to apply
it ?

Best wishes,

Dallas

Hi Dallas,

In some circles that I am in it is said that
'The SECRET DOCTRINE is two of the 12 volumes'.
I am not 100% sure if I personally saw that in black and white.
However,
I will do the research and will pass it on to you as soon as I
find out.

As far as the Volumes 3 and 4 go your information is totally
correct. I
do not feel that those two Volumes were ever really meant to be
published. That is the point I was trying to make. From what I
see, any
further volumes are to be at higher levels and can not be brought
to
physical levels in to a book form. It does not mean that these
are the
end either.

It would be reasonable to expect that after Cosmogenesis and the
Anthropogenesis, the natural progression would be further
evolution of
Human which we call Masters or Brotherhood. I do not believe
that the
information of that nature will ever be in a book from for us to
study
and crystallize. HPB has already done enough to benefit us. If
these two
volumes are digested and brought to the public in a simpler form
that
would be wonderful. It seems reasonable to expect that we would
then
slowly start working with the Brotherhood and Masters little by
little
and assist them in their work. That would be a real service.

I am sure, I am not saying any thing new to you.

Gopi
