Dennis:
There is nothing in English that would corespond to Leadbeater except
the first letter. It is news to me that she referred to Leadbeater. I
don't have all her books in English.
Her biography (in English) is ALEXANDRA DAVID-NEEL Portrait of an
Adventurer, by Ruth Middleton, Shambhala 1989, ISBN 0-87773-413-5.
There is no index in that biography, but the Bibliography lists {in
French) 27 titles, including the one you cited above.
It lists Biographies {in French}
Chalon, Jean. Le Lumineux destin d'Alexandra David-Neel. Paris:
Libraire Plon, 1985
Peyronnet, Marie-Madeleine. Dix aus avec Alexandra David-Neel. Paris:
Librairie Plon, 1973.
It lists English Translation titles,
Buddhism, Its Doctrines and Its Methods New York: St. Martin's Press
1978
Initiations and Initiates in Tibet Berkley Shambhala Publications,
1970 (I have it in a Dover reprint)
Magic and Mystery in Tibet. 1932. Reprint. New York: Dover
Publications, 1971
My Journey to Lhasa 1927. Reprint. Boston: Beacon Press, 1986
The Power of Nothingness Boston: Houghton Miffin Co., 1982
The Secret Oral Teachings in Tibetan Buddhist Sects, San Francisco:
City Lights Books, 1967
The Superhuman Life of Gesar of Ling. Transl. Alexandra David-Neel and
Lama Yongden. 1934. Reprint. Boston: Shambhala Publications, 1987.
