There was traffic relative to who decides on what material is published in ULT magazine. While it is true that in 99.99% hard copy publications, it is the piper who pays calls the tune; or it is the person who controls the purse calls the tune.

Having said that, from the point of view of a student of theosophy -- one who is an inquirer and searcher after truth, what is important is - Is the material that is published is helpful to the reader; or is it just PR and beating one's own drum - every issue containing the picture of a top or influential person and where he/she travelled, what food he/she ate, what entertainment he/she had, what his/her family did or did not do, etc. - all that has nothing to do with helping one to understand theosophy or propagation of theosophical doctrines and ideas to the world.

In this day and age of Internet, when one can put out one's thoughts and ideas and views free of cost on the Internet, as days pass by, hard copy publications may become less and less important to a serious student of theosophy who is really independent.
