Dear Mic,

The difference is an illusion, like all appearance of separateness.
Theosophy is about unity. But when the ideal becomes manifest in
materiality, it suffers some fragmentation. The material plane
cannot completely embody the ideal. We can overcome this
fragmentation, if we wish, by exercise of consciousness. We can
practice seeing the other point of view as well as our own, realizing
that even opposite points of view can hold essential truth. We can
concentrate on our similarities, instead of on our apparent
differences. It seems that in our cycle of evolution, a lot depends
upon our learning to see unity instead of separateness, and the re-
emergence of Theosophy into the thought plane of our race seems
to be a paradigm for a bit of karma concerning Higher Love.
