REMINDER August 11 - 12 GET-TOGETHER
At Cambria, California


Dear Friends:

A reminder and an opportunity presents itself either for your attendance, or
for the contribution of written thoughts, questions, suggestions, or papers
for general consideration (space limited to 500 words please).

In less than a month, students of Theosophy and those who respect and have
profited from H.P.Blavatsky’s exposition of THEOSOPHY will hold a
“Get-Together” in the town of Cambria, [California, mid-way between Los
Angeles and San Francisco, on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, near the
“Hearst Castle.”

There is ample hotel and motel accommodation to be had in Cambria, San
Simeon, Morro Bay, Antascadero, Moonstone Beach, and San Luis Obispo. A car
for your transportation would be needed as some of these town are up to 40
miles away from Cambria. [Near the small town of CAMBRIA are: Moonstone
Beach, San Simeon, Antascadero and Morro Bay.]

Seventh Annual Gathering in Cambria, CA, on August 11 & 12, 2001.
The topic for the weekend is:


THEOSOPHY -- ANCIENT WISDOM FOR MODERN TIMES


A public meeting will be held on

Saturday, August 11, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Joslyn Recreation Center,
950 Main Street,
Cambria, California, U.S.A.


A brunch and informal discussion will follow on

Sunday, August 12 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hospitality House,
305 Pembrook, across from Shamel Park,
Cambria

Also, the Hospitality House will be open to all visitors
during the week of August 6-12.

This is a very popular vacation spot, so plan ahead and make lodging and
travel reservations as early as possible. Cambria is on Route 1, about
midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco or San Jose. The nearest local
airport is San Luis Obispo.

We hope to see old friends there and meet new ones, gathering together in
the
spirit of Unity and Brotherhood, continuing the tradition of the annual
Gatherings in Brookings, Oregon.
