It is interesting to note that there was an total solar
eclipse about 3 1/2 hours ago, visible in Africa.
It is considered auspicious when such an eclipse
happens on the day of a solstice or equinox. This
time, it has happened about 1/4 day from the Summer
Solstice. The eclipse can be read about and

Another item of interest is that mars is the closest
to the earth today that it's been in 13 years. You
