Peter, That's a good summary of the position. It does accord with what 
Blavatsky has written. The only place I would correct you is where you 
say the failures become the most advanced of the next planetary chain they 
find themselves in. It would depend on where they joined in the cycle of 
development. 

Another way of saying what you said - A child at college naturally moves 
up from year to year under the natural impulse of just growing older. This 
isn't enough on its own for her to graduate - if she thinks so she's in 
for a big shock. She has to make the effort at each stage. If not, she 
may have to resit the year.
