Dear Arturo:

Perfectly true -- that the Adepts do not believe in any kind of
a PERSONAL or Carnalized GOD. And I did not imply one.


SPIRITUAL and UNIVERSAL DIVINE DEIFIC SELF

But there is the realm of the SPIRITUAL(or the IDEAL and the
PERFECT) -- which is everywhere and knows all things. By it the
whole Universe is regulated. You may call this Karma if you
wish, but the cooperative side and evolutionary side of all
Nature and all individual beings in it are included there.
Thus the 2nd Fundamental (LAW UNIVERSAL AND PERSONAL) and the 3rd
Fundamental (Universal Evolution of all beings as INTELLIGENCE
and CONSCIOUSNESS) are dependent on the nature and qualities
implied in the 1st Fundamental (Universal SPIRITUAL and DEIFIC
NATURE as a basic concept).


3 FUNDAMENTALS AND : THE ANCIENT SOURCE OF WISDOM --
THEOS-SOPHIA.

These 3 Fundamentals are in the SECRET DOCTRINE ( Vol. I, pp
14 - 20 ) It is important for students of the Theosophical
scheme to learn and understand these as the whole of the
philosophy aside from the Historical report on observations made
by the Adepts and Their chelas over uncounted years has
corroborated these (S.D. I 272-3). "The ANCIENT SOURCE of
THEOSOPHY."


PERSONAL GOD -- a Creation of formalized Religions

Every religion, ancient or modern has attempted to substitute a
"Personal God" (who could make or break his own Laws and was
flattered by prayers, petitions, and payments to His PRIESTS)
substituted a kind of Personal God of a quasi-physical potency ,
for the impartial, universal, just and merciful LAW OF KARMA.
Misguided people have always sought an escape from the implacable
law of Karma which demands and enforces the balancing of any kind
of debt by the person who offended. We tend to focus more on the
"fear of consequences" when we know we have done or been evil,
than on such good effects as we may have also merited.

The Buddha said: "Cease from evil. Do good. This is the
Way." -- Simple and direct, and it says all that is needed for
"Right Livelihood." You will find Jesus saying almost the same
thing.


KABALA -- the Jewish was Christianized -- the Original is the
ORIENTAL KABALA

According to the records of Theosophy the KABALA was re-edited in
the 14th/16th century, using some of the Christian symbolism to
conceal the ancient Jewish wisdom of the original Jewish Kabala.
It is only natural that one will find allusions to Christian
concepts and dogmas there. But as H.P.B. says repeatedly in ISIS
UNVEILED and THE SECRET DOCTRINE, there exists an ORIGINAL
ORIENTAL KABALA, which is far more ancient than the Jewish
Kabala. This latter was re-edited by Ezra about 1 century before
Jesus, as all copies had been destroyed during the Roman conquest
of Palestine, and it had to be rewritten from memory. H.P.B.
says there are faults in it and further concealment of great
original TRUTHS. The Rabbis of Spain in medieval times, when
Judaism was abolished, became nominal Christians, and then to
preserve the wisdom remaining, the Kabala was re-edited and made
to absorb mystical meanings from Christian and R C Church
dogmas.. So says history.


REINCARNATION

In the Bible can still be traced. Jesus did not say it was
wrong. He did not say we "live only once." But the Priests who
reedited it did that and attempted to conceal reincarnation.
Because if reincarnation is true and the SPIRIT IN MAN is
immortal, no one will need priests. They (each free-willed human
MIND) will have their attention directed to the SPIRITUAL BEING
that is WITHIN themselves. That is where the Universal Deific
Principle can be immediately contacted. Then the Voice of BUDDHI
(or Universal experience) will speak to the enquiring Mind and
warn in case a proposed action or word is evil.


PHYSICAL MAN is a Temporary Body.

As you say, the perishable is only the physical. The Immortal
within is the SPIRITUAL MONAD and this constantly reincarnates
age after age.


INITIATION

This ought not to be so mysterious. H.P.B.'s ORIGINAL WRITINGS
are a key to the information and the practice of "goodness" by
anyone who cares to study them.

In fact all "initiation": is a self-imposed discipline. In a
way one might say: The Man-thinker, living in his Personality,
widens out to the Universal. From self-centered by makes himself
UNIVERSALLY CENTERED.

The "Initiator" merely points to the interior, innate WISDOM that
everyone has in their own heart and mind. Once that anyone
becomes aware of this and that the law of Karma was not aimed
specifically at them, but was, and is, in fact universal and
impersonal, the reason form becoming wiser is clear.

This process does not require as an indispensable essential
either "Priests" or "Dogmas." It is obvious for those who
desire to know and to improve their knowledge of the world and
Universe that they have to study not only Nature, but their own
personal and IDEAL natures. This becomes a self-imposed
discipline. It is carried on at specific times and all the time
in practice.


REPENTANCE

This does not help much unless one "ceases from evil." Then, the
first step is to go to the victims and seek to help and
recompense them. This humbles one's pride, and changes it to
SERVICE OF OTHERS. The wider the area that we can serve, the
more "merit" we earn as a "personality." This as I understand
the Law.

If one desires to see and read an important synopsis of KARMA and
its actions, one ought to read Mr. W. Q. Judge's APHORISMS ON
KARMA [ ULT W.Q.J. Articles, Vol. I, p. 120 ]

Regarding 'God' the Mahatmas said in the Mahatma Letters to AP
Sinnet..
we don't believe in any god shape or perform, personal or
impersonal...we
have been looking for this god through the Universe and we came
empty
hand..' ( again not Their exact words)..
Saying so for the Ones who were HPB's Gurus, who inspired the
Secret
Doctrine and Founders of the Theosophical Society, then we have a
contradiction...not from the Mahatmas but their followers who are
determined
to find a god somewhere, to please the christian belief..God the
creator. I
would recommend to everyone to STUDY and MEDITATE the Mahatma
Letters to AP
Sinnett.
The Bible tell us about 'the second death'..what is this?
A Kabalistic will open the Bible to amazing realms, and this
particular
statement...'the soul can go to it second death'', is something
to talk
about. It tell us that the spirit of man and woman is immortal
BUT the soul,
is NOT...that is why some church fathers were determinate to
suppress the
reincarnation teachings from the early christians, till this day.
No
accountability was the church fathers intention. 'We live only
once and go
to heavens or to hell, but we could repent all our sins when we
are
dying!!'..the second death was not suppress from the Bible
because was not
understood but for the Initiate only.
So then we are not immortals after all, but mortals..only the
Essence, as
Dallas pointed out, is immortal, but the connection to that
Spirit can be
lost, and what is left is just a carcasses..a dangerous
individual who can
perform dangerous deeds..examples in this world we have many.
I do believe that doing good work and a brotherhood/sisterhood
oriented
activities, we could make it and become one with our Essence IN
THIS LIFE,
and not in a million life from now. Our Lord Gautama is the best
example.
