Yes. It is also refered to as the mental plane or the mental state of
consciousness. The three upper subplanes are the abstract mind. The three
lower planes are the concrete or practical, common sense mind. The three
upper are philosophical and receive the Atma-Buddhic info of the True Self.
Knowledge of the True Self through these subplanes of the mental plane is
called WISDOM. Knowledge of the sensori-motor physical, emotional worlds is
through the concrete mental subplanes, the common sense, and this knowledge
of physical and emotional and even mental matter is called SCIENCE. The
combined knowledge of the the bridged mental plane is called WISDOM SCIENCE.

Caution: In one Indian book I read the mental plane actually means the
emotional plane! Probably is recognizing that Kama-Manas is mostly
emotional. So beware. It can be very confusing. Perhaps on purpose!?

Actual thought is on the mental plane with the abstract Platonic thoughts
within the abstract mental subplanes and the practical thoughts on the
concrete subplanes levels. Much thought is perfused with emotion. When I
think personally I usually am the center of attention and the "Star". When
I think transpersonally I find myself on the periphery, one joyful worker
amongst many joyful workers but definitely not at the center, just, working
backstage, on the basics.

"When it has form---heed it not," teaches Psellus; "but when it is formless,
obey it, for it is then sacred fire, and all it will reveal thee, shall be
true." Page 331 of SD.

Personally: just yours. Transpersonally: group consciousness.

Sounds like you are having wonderful and interesting experiences. Life's a
blast!

It's a wonderful group. They don't mean to be irritating. We'll just have
to own our stuff and keep benefiting from all this stimulation. Maybe I'll
go home and have a good cry too. A nice hot tub bath and a good cry.
Sounds good. If I can't find hot good references to the seven planes I am
gonna cry. Lately I've found a wonderful technique. I draw a very hot
bath. I sit in it until I can't stand the heat any longer then I sit out in
the cold room in my birthday suit until I'm quiet chilled and watching t.v.
or listening to music and stretching, and then I get too chilled and get
back into the bath. It's not an expensive spa but it works really swell and
is very relaxing. Now I'll cry too if I feel like it. They'll find me wet
and shivering wailing away babbling about how I can't prove the existence of
the seven planes of consciousness, but, such is life, such is relaxation.

Secretly, to you, whisper whisper:

(((I decided to become celibate at age, about twenty-four, in mind emotion
and body. To test myself I used to go see Laura Antonelli movies. Here's
this Secret Doctrine-reading-meditating-guy- nutcase, seven years celibate,
watching Laura Antonelli, Goddess, in LOVERS AND OTHER RELATIVES and
MALICIOUS and other of her wonderful movies. Talk about total body
fire!)))((((((don't tell anyone!)))))

Such helped me get my emotional body vibrating. Me don't feel too clogged
neither! I am still a bit of a stiff necked individual. Working on it
though!
