Theos-World RE: The Perfection of a Perfect Monad

Dear Friend:

As I see it, (let me use this and only as an example, an
analogy) :
The SUN is relatively 'perfect' when compared (superficially) to
the planets (assuming that they are drawing from the ever-present
example of the SUN as a basis for comparison of their advancing
'perfection.')

All comparisons (and analogies) are somewhat inexact.

As I understand it, HPB tries to show us how there are many
levels of 'perfection.' There are always those (a MONADIC
central INTELLIGENCE that is using a 'FORM' coalesced out of
other, less advanced Monads) who are in advance of us, and those
who are (so to say, at a stage of experience that is not as
advanced as ours) -- and, they are looking to what we show and
do, as an illustration of the 'perfection' they might also
(comparatively) achieve.

In SD I the section on GODS MONADS & ATOMS ( around p. 620 on )
and the section SD I 570-5 have always seemed to me to indicate
this kind of relative state of relationship between Monads, which
while it seems relatively stable, is, yet, also movable depending
on the power of CHOICE that any self-conscious being might
exercise. Monads are said by HPB to differentiate periodically
out of the MONADIC ESSENCE. To me this indicates that while they
are all 'immortal,' their entry into any one stage of
consciousness is guided by Karma according to 'Time.' [This
relates to a particular Maha-Manvantara, I guess. Since such
periods of time are so enormous, and since our present
limitations as to perception of time are vague, whether this be
extended to a 'beginning,' or an 'end,' the importance to us is
the power of CHOICE (motive) that is our present responsibility.
I would conclude that if we are unable to be more precise, then,
the practice of 'Brotherhood" would allow us to make the most
optimum of choices.

I have always thought (as a guide strictly for myself) that if I
seek to establish grades, I am really (for myself) wasting time,
since that same time might better be spent in helping others to
find the kind of assistance I am profiting from.

But, I could also be wrong in this kind of characterization.

With "perfection" he means to become more conscious. Our monad
and our
individuality is not conscious as yet, but will become in time
through
evolution which runs upwards towards the higher. At the end of
the
manvantara the monad has developed back to its source PLUS
consciousness.
