Dear Gene,
I will put my best effort into your compilation, when it arrives. I had some
future plans to analyze the pattern revealing itself in Leibnitz and Spinoza
from their mathematical ideas: the binary numbers and infinitesmals with
Leibnitz, and the Euclidean axioms in Spinoza's works, and comparing them
(and so following the well-known SD hint). Now i may add your philosophy of
three numbers as the key to your collection of quotes (and possibly render
myself unconscious).
The infinite substance of Spinoza and the infinitesmal monad of Leibnitz as
two limits and two reciprocal units. (This is the very essence of the great
Advaita Vedanta philosophy and its whole or aggregates compared to parts.)
More of this later! First I will try to quiet the mind and make the buddhi
"like a cool mountain lake" in honor of somebody I care about. If nothing
else comes out of it, it is an excellent excercise.
Kim
