Following up the thoughts on numbers (Zero and One etc.) I thought I'd share
with you an idea which has interested me for some time. This is the
implications od the numbers One to Seven in binary format using three bits
throughout, written under each other. As most of you will well know (but I
don't want to mystify those who don't :-) ) the sequence is 001, 010, 011, 100,
101, 110, 111 (put 000 at the top if you feel the need).
My point is that in the leftmost bit we get 0 for the upper triad and 1 for the
lower quaternary; also the idea of the alternating polarity on each of the
levels (planes of consciousness or what ever term you prefer) gets some support
from the rightmost bit. This MAY be just coincidence, of course? :-) but it it
curious, is it not?
Regards
Charles Sitwell
