From "Kim Poulsen" kpoulsen@vip.cybercity.dk ----
The 3 "critical essays" mentioned, are not worth bothering with, not so much
due to their unpleasant spirit pervading them, as to the absence of analytic
capacity demonstrated by the authors. The criticism amounts apparently to
finding words in the works of AAB, which are uncommon in HPB's works. etc
etc etc etc etc
And furthermore completely alien the freedom of spirit and freedom of
investigation which is the very essence of theosophy.
To Kim Poulsen ----
I don't know alot about Mrs Bailey but your words show you want to avoid
discussing substance of these essays. Authors of essays are concerned with
dissimilarity between ideas & teachings in Mrs Blavatsky's writings & those
in Mrs Bailey's books. Mr Weeks pointed to contradictions that you ignore.
Also address Mrs Bailey's anti-Jewish remarks. I find "unpleasant spirit
pervading" Mrs Bailey's words. Aren't you ashamed to defend Alice Bailey's
ugly words? Or do you agree with these anti-Jewish comments?
Are you denying to these authors the "freedom of investigation" you claim is
essence of theosophy?
David
