NEW ON ALPHEUS
Carol Stream, May 16, 2000
Dear friends,
It was time for another installment of new items on Alpheus!
Alpheus received a most interesting article by Bill Keidan, a long time friend
of distinguished theosophist Geoffrey Hodson. The article contains a deeper
exposition of Hodson's views of Krishnamurti. It is based on Bill's
conversations with Geoffrey Hodson and those who knew him, as well as perceptive
reading of Hodson's writings.

I have scanned some paragraphs from David Anrias book "Adepts of the Five
Elements," which gives both an astrological and historical view of the
Theosophical Society and Krishnamurti. The book has been long out of print, but
will be reprinted early next year by Samuel Weiser.

I have started a new section with links to reviews of books considered
relevant to the esoteric interpretation of history. Please inform me about other
URL's with good book reviews.

For Alpheus I have reproduced a review of "Kuthumi on Selfhood" (volume 12 of
the "Pearls of Wisdom") by M.R. Jaqua. The volume contains most of the 1969
dictations given through Elizabeth Clare Prophet.

When the above review appeared on a theosophical list I formulated a response to
it.

A couple of students of the University of Vienna started recently a site on
theosophical history "to bring together academic and semi-academic research
related to the early history of the Theosophical Society, its surroundings and
legacy." The site is edited by Brigitte Muehlegger.
