Theos-World swastika, counterclockwise, theosophical seal

Hello,
What's the story behind the counter-clockwise swastika being used as part of
the theosophical seal on publications of the Pasadena based Theosopical
Publishing Company texts. Years ago I wrote them, but never received an
answer.
