Theos-World Theosophical matters

Dallas has posted some interesting quotes.
They made me think.
On the issue of sex there is a reference by one of the Adepts regarding the
role of elementals. Is it possible that nothing much is discussed because
more information relating to their role and the mechanics can in the wrong
hand cause a lot of destruction for the person and others as well.
There is also the issue of wrong beliefs. There is a comment that A P
Sinnett does not have any beliefs and it is easy to deal with such a person
even though he may be eating meat and using alcohol. On the other hand,
there is the comment about 10s of 1000s of people leading a "clean" life -
vegetarian, tee totaler, chaste conduct etc but having wrong beliefs which
attract very powerful influences and the Adepts choose not to waste energy
in dealing with them.
Is there a connection between the two? Are elementals play a role in the
latter also? If this be so, what about "theosophical" beliefs -- blind
beliefs resulting from a wrong understanding of theosophical doctrines as
written by many authors HPB down to the current day authors? Could it be
that the lack of dynamism in today's theosophical movement be due to the
wrong beliefs and gimmicks fostered by current pundits and swallowed by
gullible/non thinking followers -- blind following the blind both falling
into the ditch?
Something to think about.
