Hello Randy,
As long as there is no cynic hiding under the clothes of a skeptic,
everything is cool. Time and maturity have a way answering the skeptic's
healthy ongoing investigations. The need for linear or rational explanations
tends to soften as one becomes more comfortable with intuitional suddenness
and abstractional experiences.
<<If things are not reducible to our reasoning powers we lose the most
important filter we have to protect us from being misled.>>
Interesting notion Randy. In my opinion, as a planetary species we have
reasoned our way to a materialistic darkness that I find quite disturbing.
Our rational equipment (and its insane demands for linear proofs) is out of
balance with its intuitional counterpart. A filter out of balance (or
clogged) is totally useless and capable of misleading, ONLY! We must always
be careful that our filters do not put more impurities back in to the system,
than they take out.
