It seems to me too that the cycles have a rhythm of their own that we can't
interefere with.  But I wonder whether we provide the 'material' so to
speak, that clothes them.  Or to put it another way, we can't stop the earth
going around, or away from the sun, but we see in the darkness what we
project from our own consciousness and act thereon.  We can do something
with the latter, but not much with the movement of the cycle itself.  What
do you think?

This was just off the top of my head, in an hours time I might think this
was a daft suggestion!
