Years ago I was introduced to SRF as a teen when I studied Yoga...After
taking some of the lessons I began to feel that a price was being charged
for spiritual truth and I also felt that the attempts to amalgamate
Hinduism and Christianity in the way it was done were flawed. I then
discovered the Ramakrishna Mission and entered an Ashram for several months
through Swami Prabhavananda, this was over thirty years ago... I did feel
that the Hinduism represented in the Ramakrishna Mission was to me more of
an authentic variety than that offered by Yogananda... Currently, I teach a
free Yoga classes in a Shiva Mandir.
I hope that answers your question.
In Frienship.
