Re: Theos-World delayed message (about Dora Kuntz)

Once again we need to thank Martin for posting on this news group the msg about Dora Kunz' passing away.

Once again it proves the point we have been discussing on the future of theosophy.

It is the eagerness and motivation of committed individual theosophists that is going to determine what is going to happen to theosophy in the next millennium.

The organizations are not nimble enough to act in the Internet culture where speed is of the essence (as compared to the traditional snailmail, which may look pretty on paper) -- literally operating round the clock seven days of the week which is very difficult to do with workers who are paid employees working a regular 40 hour week or even those elected officials for many it is a part time work.

Thanks too.

Although I don' t usually have the time to write messages, I still
read yours all the time and I am, at present, translating Mrs.Radha
Burnier's speeches into Spanish in Sant Feliu de Guixols, a town on
the coast near Barcelona, Spain. This is the Spanish Summer School
which is always held the last week in August and this year we had the
honour of having the International President as the guest speaker.

There are about 200 people in the hotel, but as it happens I am the
only one to be connected to the outside world and after I saw the
message yesterday, I was able to tell Mrs. Burnier about it. She had
not heard about it yet. Today there are some problems with the
connections and I won't be able to send this away until tomorrow, but
I was glad to have the news first hand thanks to the list.

So, you are right, mkr, once again Internet has proven its value. :-)

Ana Maria Torra.

PS. It took, in fact, longer than I expected to send this. Sorry for the delay.
