The cover story of THE NEW SCIENTIST looks interesting.  "A dissident
group of astronomers is claiming that the Universe is not the smooth,
homogeneous place that Einstein envisaged.  If they're right, says
Marcus Chown, the foundations of cosmology could crumble to dust."
