Theos-World Mrs Blavatsky surely did NOT lie about Tibet

In a message dated 7/7/99 9:00:52 AM, David again posted wrote:

<<<< Recently I closely read THE ARMCHAIR TRAVELLER: HPB IN TIBET by Mr
R.A.Gilbert. I was shocked to find Mrs Blavatsky lied about trip to Tibet.
Mr Gilbert's study proves her unreliability.>>

And Louis responded:

<<David,

Why are you kicking a dead horse? You already brought this issue up and it
was answered. Can we please move on to the next piece of trash?>>

I will also monotonously repeat my offer to forward to anyone a copy of what
I have written so far in my dissertation, that gives the lie to Gilbert's
article and PROVES that HPB had utterly unique knowledge of Tibet --
knowledge we can now verify -- which could only have come from oral sources,
nothing printed.

It is interesting indeed that David, that "searcher after truth" has never
once asked to see my paper, because it is indeed conclusive that HPB knew
much authentic Tibetan vocabulary (I can prove it) and had a knowledge of
Tibetan geography that could only have come from an eye-witness, either
herself or a close informant.

I will add that it is quite unscholarly -- and unsporting -- to repeat
allegations without even bothering to look at counterevidence.
