Thank you for the quote Martin. It has long been my position that, to shut
out the beauty and power of some of our great theosophical writers and
orators, just because of political or intellectual rigidity, is one of the
saddest losses for those who restrict themselves so. Long ago, before I was
aware of "party allegiance," when I was still in my Idyllic "random
discovery" stage, I learned of the ability of Annie Besant and many other
theosophical writers, to hit heart and mind with stunning power and insight.
I have never given up the taste for taking my theosophy where I find it. And
I find it in many unexpected places, BECAUSE I APPROACH IT, WITH THE SAME
EXPECTATION THAT I DO HPB's WORK. INTUITION OPEN, WILLING TO BE INSPIRED,
ANTICIPATING THE GROWTH THAT IS SURE TO COME. Language, spoken or written,
poetry or prose, contains the magical formula for insight and illumination.
Who among us should say which of our kind, should or should not be
entertained. Today I enjoyed Annie Besant because of your offering. Who will
it be tomorrow?
