Dear Lucio:

Very touching and sorry to hear about what you witnessed. Most of us are
blessed in that we have not seen the horrors first hand and live in safety
and comfort.

Recently I saw a stunning statistic. Nearly 2 million were killed in
African civil disturbances and the West never took it or reported it
seriously. Reporters pointed out that the current Western focus on Kosovo
is because they people concerned are not colored.

Suffering is suffering no matter what and where you are. How many of us
would like to put ourselves to endure what the man, woman and child is
going thru.

It is my hope that the current real time live TV broadcasts sensitize
thecommon man/woman to the plight of the poor and suffering and do
something soon.
