Hi Peter,
It seems to me that the question itself says a lot about the one who asks it.
At the very least it says that the person who asks, has never experienced the
unbidden "Images" of inner or transcendent realities. Having to "Imagine" in
the ordinary sense of the word, as in projecting or perceiving an image that
is "not there" or "not real," lies at the heart of the problem. How does
someone who knows something about the images and landscape of Occult
Meditation or Spiritual Contemplation explain it to someone who does not?
Unless the Intuitive apparatus (as in Buddhi) is firing properly, knowledge
of higher realities, through the head center is cut off. Only the imagination
and visualizations of the mystic (as in feeling) meditators are left. The
"Way" for them is exactly where they are at. It flows from the
astral/emotional nature and must be nurtured with the feelings. It is right
for those who are wired that way but it is by no means the ONLY way. Your
reply to Jerry, which follows, is right on, however, I am not sure he will
get it.
Louis.
