Jerry,

Just so we keep things straight, I responded to one of your posts with the
following message in it's entirety:

In a message dated 4/4/99 12:14:45 AM Eastern Daylight Time,
gschueler@netgsi.com writes:

<< Good. One of my motives is to make you guys
think a little. >> This is the particular line in you post, which I am
addressing below.

<<Jerry,

That is a BIG presumption and quite telling. Your notion that "us guys"
cannot or do not think, without your help, says more about you and where you
are coming from than most of what you have previously written. It also seems
to confirm much of the intuitive critique that has come your way.

Louis>>

To which you reply:

<<Thank you Louis. And what is your motive?

Occassionally I deliberately put out postings that I know
will rile certain Theosophical people. Sex and magic
are two of my favorite subjects that never fail to
get reactions. I don't really care if those reactions are
favorable or adverse. I only get concerned by apathy
or non-response. If I offend, I am sorry. But I hate
complacency. And no matter how you want to distort
my words, I would never try to make you think anything.
Theosophists are pretty much I'd-rather-think-for-myself
type people. But I find the responses, even yours,
to be interesting, and so I keep on...

Jerry S.>>

Jerry,

Again I say, the presumption that members of THIS list, needs your silly
games in order to think deeply and profoundly about the matters at hand, says
more about you, then the subjects you address. To me, it reveals a level of
arrogance that I find disturbing. I know you don't care what we think or how
we react. That in itself, is a telling personality trait. However, when you
say that you deliberately set circumstance in order to provoke certain
responses, I become alarmed. I must ask where you get the authority or
credentials to do such a thing. I, for one, find this type of thinking,
shallow and unproductive.

I would like to see the communications that appear on this list back on
track. The love and study and discussion of Source-Theosophy. That's what I
thought I was getting when I joined this list. Not an endless defense of
questionable opinion. You asked what my motive was. You just heard it.

Louis
