Theos-World Can the Reincarnating Ego Suffer Karma?

>>How does this detract from the idea that it is the Individuality and
not the personality that reincarnates and reaps the Karma of previous
births?>>
Peter, I think that you should be careful here. The individuality does
not "reap the Karma" of previous births. The next
personality and body does that. Only the "good" of a life rises
to higher planes while the "bad" is sloughed off in kamaloka
(god I hate to have to say this in such dualistic terms). According
to HPB only the "aroma" of each life goes to the Reincarnating
Ego, which uses it to grow and evolve over the manvantara.
The Reincarnating Ego evolves via the experiences of its
expressions, but does not suffer from karma in the sense that
our personalities and bodies do.
