As I and others are just beginning in Theosophical studies, how does the
above quote apply to us? Is it implying that if we can't find the 'center'
or even get close - due to being beginners - that when the 'spiritual
influences' are gone that I and others will be 'without the gate', so to
speak? Should one continue in his/her studies with a prospect like this?
I've probably got your whole message wrong, but I stand in fear of losing
out because of the time we are in and my recent *finding* of Theosophy. Awe
blimey, I felt when *stumbling* across Theosophy, that 'coming home'
feeling - have I returned to late, or have I never returned only imagined
it, and could I loose out because of the "influences" going to go. Then if
so, I would only be doing mechanical studies - but I want/need a teacher.
I know I'm rambling and I don't know how to put it. I also hope you know
what I'm trying to say and could help me on this point as I'm now perplexed.
Best regards, Alan
