Effect of some practices

In the San Franciso area, some years ago, there were cases of people
getting back pain. When all the tests were done, they were negative. So
they were sent to a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists found nothing wrong with
they psyche either. Hence they were puzzled. One common thread was that
everyone tried some practice of meditation or whatever. So one psychiatrist
finally went to India and under theguidance of one of the Monks tried a
practice. Lo and behold! Soon he started getting back ache. I believe this
was published in a book or some medical journal as I was told of this by a
psychiatrist client of mine.

Backache, once sets in is very difficult to cure. So some caution is
appropriate. Afterall anyone can try anything and if they develop problems,
they cannot blame anyone but themselves.
